What brand type of inexpensive electric guitar is recommended to buy? I am spending money on a very decent amp for my Cole Clark electric acoustic so my budget for an electric at this stage is limited. I am a competenat guitar player for many years. I am looking for something playable, versatile and upgradable.I've looked at squires, epiphone, samic and Yamaha specs. I have played a Mexican strat etc. Any ideas?cheers

I have a cheap electric guitar starcaster by fender . if i change the pick up would it deliver nice sound ?? i bought it for 199 dollars it came with amp, tuner, guitar case,10 watt amp, set of strings and etc. i bought it to learn guitar. i have played it for eight months now i feel like my guitar is really crappy, and it produces crappy sound. i was thinking about changing pick up. .. will this make my guitar sound better ??? or it depends on amp that you are using ??? plz help me and it's fender starcaster what type of pick up should i use ??? thankyou

Cheap electric guitars.?
Playability not a problem. Just needs to be able to hold its tune. Pickups are optional. I want an electric guitar body with that I can string, just so I can take it for a walk in the ocean, throw it around, and just generally abuse it. It will never see the stage. It will only see abuse. So I want the cheapest guitar available. The cheapest I've been able to find is $75 for a no name strat. Can anyone beat that?I'm doing this because it sounds fun, and I saw the video for Karma by Parkway Drive, and thought I could have a hell of a time doing something similar.
What is a good quality but cheap electric guitar amplifier?
i have a marshall MG50DFX at the moment, but i'm not very happy with the sound, so i was wondering if there was something better but for a similar kind of price, and also a good mid ranged, cheapish electric guitar, i have a hollow body epiphone dot studio but that isn't great either, so would like ideas for something better to replace that also.
