What are essential guitar accessories?
I currently own a Ibanez RG series, handed down by my brother. This guitar has survived 10 brutal years of strumming extreme heat and cold, band practices, concerts, the whole 9 yards. Anyway I recently enlisted in a band and I am lead guitarist. I don't want to throw it away because the neck is very comfortable, very easy to work with guitar. I have a job, so I can buy necessities for my guitar. What I need to know from fellow guitarists, is what are the accessories that best fit my guitar? Items such as a case, strings, pickups etc. This guitar needs to be completely remodeled. So please give me your opinion as to what I need to purchase my seasoned guitar. Give me the whole 9 yards. Include an amp too

Which electric acoustic guitar accessories should I buy?
Ok, so I have never played guitar and I am taking lessons this semester to learn. I've played bass for about 7 years now, and I know the ins and outs of that but guitar is a foreign concept. I've decided on buying a fender acoustic electric starcaster, but I need to know what kind of straps, cords, and strings people that actually play use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bass guitar accessories/effects?
I play the drums and my younger brother plays the bass guitar and soon elec guitar too . He bought me something for my birthday a few months ago, and his is coming up in Sept. Are there any cool effects or accessories for bass guitar that you can suggest for me to surprise him with? We mostly play rock, and some hard rock. Money isn't too tough right now, maybe less than 300 or 500 though. Any ideas or websites to link to? Or just personal experience?

i bought a guitar set of silvertone with amp included and also bought zoom G1 dist. pedal , but now im nt able to get a good output.....i've tried all the metal patches on the pedal but the output lacks crunch. > is there a way to change the pickups with a good one. > which amp should i get if there is a prob. in my amp.PLZ HLP ME IM A FUKIN PARKWAY DRIVE FAN .............
Gibson push/pull tone knobs, and other Gibson guitar accessories?
I am going to be purchasing some parts for my guitar and would like some opinions.First I am looking into the Gibson 500k ohm Potentiometer push pull knobs. I know that they change the tone from a humbucking pickup to a single coil, but I was wondering should I replace both tone knobs or just one. my neck position pickup is a burstbucker pro and my bridge position is a 1957 paf Second What is the difference in the Gibson vintage les paul tuning knobs with pearloid buttons and the Gibson vintage nickel plated tuning knobs with pearloid buttons?Thank you for responding
