Do you like it when the bass guitar stands out in a song?
I do D Like in Jane's Addiction. ZoSo I don't really think so 'cause they're blues rock to me and I just can't see them with a bass. Part of their charm D And when I first heard Seven Nation Army Not knowing it was them I thought the intro was bass. But again, can't see them with bass...

Can a Guitar stand be bad for the neck of a guitar?
Ive been standing my guitar on guitar stands for a while. The stands have three legs that keep it balanced, two padded hooks at the bottom to hold the guitar and one leg that sticks up with a padding. The guitar rests against the one leg that sticks up and there's not anything at the top to hold the headstock. So my guitar is stood up at the body but from the beginning of the neck, going upwards, theres nothing. I dont think a company would make something that can screw up a guitar neck but idk. Floor guitar stand vs. wall mounted?
For those of you that play the acoustic guitar, what are your thoughts on a basic floor guitar stand vs a wall mounted guitar holder?Which do you find more useful? Do the basic guitar stands tip over easily? Keep in mind that my husband, who wants one, is a beginner learner.Any comments or suggestions from musicians would be appreciated.
How should a guitar stand be positioned?
My question is about single guitar stands. And most have adjustable neck rests. I store two 6 string acoustics on these stands as well as a 12 string on another. And what I was wondering if were or how much should the neck rest be at in comparison to the body. So is there a way or height that is better than another, should the neck rest rest right at where the body and neck meet, a little higher, a little higher, etc. Or all the way up. I didn't know if there was a way that could be better than another, or visa versa. Mainly I just want to know if a certain way induces or is more likely to cause damage or bow?Thanks so much for your time
