i just got an old hofner guitar that was my grandpas, all i can find on it is the " made in germany" statement which is on the front of it. i cant find a model number. can anybody please tell me where i can find the model number??

My uncle gave me a hofner guitar that was my grandpas, its really old,and in pretty good condition.read detial?
its really old, and like i said, in good condition, but it doesnt have a model number or serial number on the outside of it. the inside cant be seen. its at least 40 50 years old. any idea on its value? or any information on how i could find its value? thanks
