Roundback style guitars - bridges?
I am wondering if the Roundback style guitar Ovation for example bridges are durable. I mean those without pins that push the string a couple of inches in the body but like this ovationguitars.com images products 2077axccb 03.jpgIt would be awesome if someone who owns an Ovation or similar guitar shares his experience. Thanks And also, are they less durable in comparison to the classic pin using bridges as seen on most other acoustic guitars? I am no physicist but it seems to me that the tension on the bridge is greater with those bridges Ovation uses.

Can you play the same chords for guitars and ukuleles?
Like if the tabs for the guitar said A major, would it still me a A major but for the ukulele? This is confusing to explain, I mean I won't have to convert the chords or anything..right?

Is it bad for guitars to travel by airplane too often?
Like as a carry on?? I just bought a nice guitar and since I don't actually have a home to leave it in but I travel a lot, I take it with me. What should I do to preserve it? Also, take off the strings or loosen them?

Is this guitar string winder any good?
I don't know much about guitars and guitar tools. I'm new to guitar and I need to replace the strings because I bought it used. Is this string winder any good? For acoustic guitar? Can I put a standard neck on a junior guitar?
I currently own a Starcaster By Fender, as my sole electric guitar. The Starcaster was a beginner junior version of the infamous Fender Strat. It has the three pickups bridge, middle, neck , 5 way pickup selector, Master Volume and 2 Tone Pots, and a Tremelo Floating bridge. Its as far as i can tell just like a real Strat. I'm sure there is more technical things, like say the pickup quality and whatnot, but this little guitar has been more than enough for my needs for playing an electric. However, the problem is that because it is a Junior guitar, it has a shorter neck and therefore scale length , which also has smaller frets to boot. I noticed that the Starcaster has a bolt on neck, like many Fender and other electric guitars. i've also seen Fender Strat " replacement" necks for relatively cheap too. So I'm wondering If I could simply but a full sized regular Strat neck, and put it on my Starcaster.

What's the difference between APX500II - Acoustic/Electric guitar and FGX700SC Acoustic/Electric guitar?
I'm purchasing an acoustic electric guitar for the first time, and i don't want to just rush into it.What's the difference between these two guitars? they look similar...

Interested in playing the guitar. Need advice, please and thank you!?
I have just started to play the guitar, but I don't have my own. A family friend was kind enough to let me barrow one of their many. I want to buy my own, I just don't know which one is right for me. I did some research, but I feel personal opinions are important as well. So I do like the sound of electric guitars, but I plan to play on the street when I get better and feel that carrying around a heavy amplifier would be too much trouble for me to carry around by myself. So I decided on a acoustic guitar, but I know I read something about the sound hole determining the sound, depending on the size. Bigger being deeper, and smaller being brighter?" I know it's not as important, but I have the money to get a nicer looking one. I would like one in red, does anyone know where I could get more attractive ones?Thank you for all the help P.S.Oh and if anyone knows any good sites or books for lessons on guitar and singing that would be a huge help to me I'm more of a visual learner. Pictures So that would be much appreciated as well
