Gibson Guitars Vs Taylor Guitars.?
I was looking at a Gibson hummingbird today and a Taylor 814ce today and the only difference I felt was that the action on the gibson was higher and that the sound was not as bright as the taylor.Anyone know what the biggest difference between these two makes?

I have a 314CE with the Taylor Guitars Expression System and it broke the piece that holds the guitar strap on is also the piece that you plug the cable into and it broke off I have to take it to the guitar store, but if it were to come down to having to replace the entire pick up what would the price be for that?
Taylor Guitars? *Experienced Guitarists*?
I was researching guitars online and came across the fact that Taylor Guitars are really good. I'm a beginner guitar player but I want a guitar that has great quality and sound. I plan to use the guitar forever. I found two models that caught my eye, the Taylor 110 and Taylor 114CE. I was wondering is it worth getting the 144CE model that is Acoustic electric or should I just get an acoustic? I watched some videos about them and the sound quality sounds great. Any Opinions would be helpful. Btw im not planing on buying anything till maybe christmas. Thanks in AdvanceIf you guys could explain some stuff about the types of guitars it would be helpful. I'm just a beginer so im not sure what a inkling or a pickup is?

On Ebay I was looking at Taylor 314ce guitar and there were some that were 1992 model and there was a 2002 model. What would be the difference between 1992, 2002, and a guitar that I would buy at Guitar Center?

Both gibson and taylor guitars are just as expensive in my country. But taylor guitars have to be ordered as they don't have it available, unlike the gibson.
