Fender guitars vintage guitars?
hi im mark i want to know if theres any brands that have fender guitars or have ne thing simulare to em like the telecaster strato caster bullet american standard etci mean the guitars its self in diffrent brand names but as the same stuff whammy bar 5 way tuggle volume tone master tone neck bridge
Are there tuning keys for vintage guitars like mine? I need replacement.?
Local music store guy told me no more tuning keys like I need are available on the market. He wants to drill extra holes in my headstock. I rufused and he thinks I'm a twit.Also on the front of the headstock, most guitars have a nut holding the machinehead. Mine was round and smooth, not a nut. What is a good place to find vintage guitars in Southwestern Michigan?
As a gift to my husband for his birthday, I'd like to find a vintage guitar shop to take him to. He's trying to find a Strat from the '60s or '70s that he can restore. We're in the Metro Detroit area, but I'd be willing to drive a bit for a really great shop. Any suggestions?
How do People make money out of vintage guitars?

What are the benefits of vintage guitars/amps?
My friend went on and on about how godlike vintage guitars and amps especially amps are. I'm wondering why. Its only logical that a modern guitar would be in better condition than a vintage one, right? Not to mention all the new features and such. This seems to be more obvious with amps. Wouldn't vintage amps have a lot less features? Of course, if they have better sound quality or something, that would be more important to me, but it seems logical that with improved technology and other advancements would make modern instruments superior.Please explain to me why vintage products are so much better. Thanks.

ThanksOh, and in response to that first answer, the serial number is extremely faded. it was when they used to press the number into the actual wood.
What makes a vintage guitar vintage?
I don't get it. How do you classify a guitar as vintage, or new?no. i have lots of vintage guitars when i sell i dont write VINTAGE on them. like say i have a guitar made in, oh i dont know, '59, thats old. then if i have a guitar from '90, the one in '90 is still nearly 20 years old not as old as one almost 50 years old. BUT the '59 isnt even close to one made in 1800's WHAT IS THE REASON THAT MOST THINK THE 59 IS VINTAGE which i think AND THE 90 ISNT which i also think
